2. Description of Service

BridgeYourBudget is a service that connects your Amazon purchase history with your YNAB (You Need A Budget) account to help you categorize and track your Amazon spending. Our Service requires access to your Amazon account and YNAB account to function properly.

3. Account Registration

To use our Service, you must create an account and provide your Amazon and YNAB credentials. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Subscription and Payment

Our Service is available on a subscription basis. We offer free trials and paid subscription plans. Payment terms:

  • All payments are processed through Stripe, a third-party payment processor.
  • Subscriptions are automatically renewed unless canceled before the renewal date.
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time through the Subscription Management page.
  • If you cancel your subscription, you will continue to have access to the Service until the end of your current billing period.
  • We do not offer refunds for the current billing period if you cancel your subscription.

5. Amazon and YNAB Access

By using our Service, you authorize us to:

  • Access your Amazon account using credentials you provide
  • Retrieve information about your Amazon orders and purchases
  • Access your YNAB account using the API token you provide
  • View and modify transaction details in your YNAB account

We do not store your actual Amazon password in plain text. All sensitive credentials are protected using industry-standard security practices.

6. User Responsibilities

When using our Service, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and current information for your accounts
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Not attempt to interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
  • Review all YNAB changes made by our Service before finalizing your budget

7. Limitations of Service

While we strive to provide a reliable service, you acknowledge that:

  • The Service depends on third-party services (Amazon and YNAB) that we do not control
  • Changes to Amazon's website or YNAB's API may temporarily affect our Service
  • We cannot guarantee 100% accuracy in matching transactions
  • The Service may be unavailable at times for maintenance or updates
  • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of our Service, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by BridgeYourBudget and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of our Service without our prior written consent.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including, without limitation, if you breach these Terms of Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
